PEANUT FOUND HER FOREVER HOME FINALLY, A BIG YARD & BECAME THE HAPPIEST DOG EVER KNOWN TO FAIRFIELD.
If your local Fairfield (or neighboring town) dog (cat or other pet)
has passed, please send us a photo
and a little description of what made him or her special to you,
and what they loved about Fairfield,
and they too will become part of our community Rainbow Bridge.
Of course, all go straight to heaven.
We understand that dogs are like family, the most purest of souls, and the source of so much unconditional love. We feel your pain and we know it hurts to lose a dog, but all things must die and so will we. We believe we will be greeted by our beloved pets some day over the rainbow bridge and we’ll be together again.
For some children, the loss of a beloved pet might be their first experience with death. Find resources for discussing this difficult topic with your kids and providing comfort and the peace knowing your family gave your dog a beautiful life.
You will want to choose words carefully, providing support, comfort and understanding. “I’m so sorry for your loss, I know how much you loved —-.“ “I’m here to support you whenever you need.” “ You gave __ such a beautiful joyful life, she’s smiling down at you.” Steer clear of minimizing the loss or giving advice.
In search of in-kind sponsorships on website and at location in return for your donated: landscaping services, plant material, carpentry, light building materials, masonry services, and more. Business sponsorships are being sought. Local donations will also be needed for building and maintenance of our community Rainbow Bridge. We are currently investigating both town and private property for our site. Thank you & please reach out to help with services, donations and also more ideas!
